Credit Approvers for Professional Developments Outside Credit Requests

These are instructions to help Credit Approvers process Outside Credit Requests.

 You will receive an email when an outside credit request in your content area needs approval. At that time, log in to Eduphoria > Click on Strive > Look under Professional Learning  > (1) Click on Credit for Approval > (2) Click on Credit Item  Request > (3) Click on the Employee’s submission that was sent to you in the email

  

 

 

 

Evaluate the content submitted by the employee and Approve or Deny Credit.

 

 

If you Deny Credit, please provide an explanation to the employee and click Submit.

 

Only credit requests for the current school year will be accepted. All requests must include the title of the workshop / class / course / training / conference, description, date, time, number of GT or SBEC credit hours requested and an uploaded attendance certificate

 

The only option for new employees with past professional development from another district is to request an electronic file from their previous district. That file would need to be sent to Mariann Patterson at mapatterson@conroeisd.net to be uploaded into Eduphoria.

 

We do not accept prior district professional development through outside credit request unless it occurred within the current school year. If it occurred during the current school year, the employee can submit an outside credit request.
