Setup Apple TV with Remote After Manually Wiping

Follow these steps to use the Apple TV remote to setup an Apple TV after Manually Wiping it.

Here are the details for how to set up your Apple TV using the Apple TV remote:

If your Apple TV wiped remotely you should see a hello screen that looks like this:

IF you do not see this screen then your Apple TV did not wipe

Click the remote to get to language option and click English

Click United States

Click Continue

Choose Set Up Manually

Choose Don’t Use Siri

Choose CISD-Guest WI-FI

Choose Continue on iPhone or iPad to verify Guest WI-FI for the Apple TV using your phone or iPad

The following message will appear on your phone or an iPad you have close by, click Continue

 You will then be prompted to enter a 4 digit code on your iPhone or iPad that the Apple TV will provide on the screen

You will then see the CISD Guest WIFI prompts on your iPhone or iPad. Click Accept and wait for the Apple TV to connect to Guest WIFI. 

The Apple TV will complete the Activation process

Your Apple TV should now be setup as indicated by the Airplay screen and the name of the Apple TV being in the School Name_# format.  

The Apple TV will initially remain on Guest WIFI but will eventually switch over to EDU WIFI.
