This is a general overview on adding assignments in a Canvas Course.
Open your course > Click on Assignments > Click on the Add Assignment button
Now you are creating the assignment and can name your assignment.
You may add your assignment content in the RCE (rich content editor) box. Hovering over any icon will give you a descriptive text of its function. The highlighted icons give you the ability to add links, images, documents, and instructions.
Once you have added your assignment content make sure to select the appropriate settings for your assignment, such as; Points, Display Grade As, Submission Type, Submission Attempts,
Group Assignment, Peer Review, and finally Assign.
