How to Install Apps using JAMF School Student

This guide explains how to use the JAMF School Student application to download and install approved apps on district iPads. This system replaces the previous "Self-Service" app.

If the JAMF School Student app is not yet configured on your device, please refer to the JAMF School Student App Setup guide first.

Identifying the App Store

To install apps, students must use the JAMF School Student app.

1. Locate the Icon

Please look for the JAMF School Student icon (image on the left, deep purple) on your iPad home screen. This is the new standard for downloading apps.

Note: The previous app was called "Self-Service." Please discontinue using the old icon. (image on right)
