ClassLink SSO Setup
This guide will help you set up your ClassLink Single Sign-On (SSO) account. This includes logging in with your temporary password, setting up security features, and creating a permanent password.
Recommended Browsers are Chrome, Edge, Safari (Note: Conroe ISD does not support personal devices. Please ensure any VPNs or iCloud Private Relay are disabled.)
When setting up Password Recovery, please use a PERSONAL email address. Do not use your work email. If you get locked out, you will not be able to access your work email to retrieve the code.
Instructions for First-Time Setup
1. Access the Login Page
You can access the login page by typing the address directly or navigating through the district homepage.
Option 1: Visit [Link: http://sso.conroeisd.net ].
Option 2: Visit the Conroe ISD Homepage, select Employees, and then select CISD SSO.
2. Log In with Temporary Credentials
Enter your username and the Temporary Password you were given.
The system will ask you to reset your password and choose a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method.


3. Choose Your Security Method (MFA)
You will see a dropdown menu. Please select one of the following methods to secure your account.
Option A: Mobile Authenticator App (Most Recommended)
Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone. (Note: This is the only approved app. You can find it in the iPhone App Store or Android Play Store).
Open the app and scan the QR code on the screen.

Option B: SMS/Text Message (You must have a cell signal to use this option at the time when needed)
Enter your cell phone number.
Check the box to authorize text messages.
Select Save.
Enter the code sent to your phone and select Verify.

Option C: Image (Not available to all employees & You will need to identify this image every time you log in)
Select the Mountain or Question Mark icon.
Choose an image you will easily remember.
Select Save.
4. Set Up Password Recovery
The system will ask you to set up recovery methods in case you forget your password.
Personal Email: Enter a personal email address. Please avoid using your district email, as you cannot access it if you are locked out.
SMS: You may also add text messaging as a backup option. SMS should be used ONLY as a backup, since a strong cell signal is needed to receive the code.
5. Change Your Password
If the system does not ask you to change your password automatically, please follow these steps to change it from the temporary one.
Select your profile picture in the upper right corner.
Select Settings.
Check your Profile Setting: Look at the text under your name. It should say "Staff-2FA Security".
If it says "Group", please change it to "Staff".
Select the Recovery tab.
Select Change Password.
Enter your new password. It must be 10 digits or more.
Important Information About Your Account
Password Expiration
Your ClassLink password expires every 90 days.
You will receive email reminders in your Outlook inbox for 10 days before it expires.
Please check your email regularly. You can reset your password at any time.
Accessing Outlook Email
You can only access your district Outlook email through the ClassLink SSO home page.
Your email uses the exact same username and password as ClassLink.
Important: You cannot access your email from external websites or other apps. You must go through ClassLink.
